Tickle Cat Cooks: Rice Krispies Squares

Tickle Cat learned from three gnomes the mystery of the Rice Krispies Squares. Here it is:

1/4 cup of margarine or butter

5 cups of miniature marshmallows

1/2 tsp of vanilla extract

6 cups of Rice Krispies cereal

Preparation Instructions:

  1. In large saucepan over low heat, melt margarine. Add marshmallows; stir until melted and well blended. Remove from heat.
  2. Stir in vanilla. Add cereal, stirring until coated.
  3. Press into a square pan.
  4. Cool. Cut into bars.
