Tickle Cat ran into this delicious meal from fellow connoisseur Ricardo. Let’s gets cooking!
3 tablespoons of butter
3 tablespoons of flour
2 cups of milk
Preparation Instructions:
- Melt the butter in the saucepan
- Sprinkle flour on the butter and stir with whisk
- Let the butter and flour mixture cook for 1 minute, whisking constantly so it doesn’t taste like flour. This step is called making a roux. The roux is used to thicken the milk to make a nice creamy sauce.
- Add the milk, stirring constantly with a whisk. Bring to a boil (over medium-high heat). If you stop whisking, the sauce will be lumpy.
- When the consistency of the sauce becomes thick and creamy (you feel your arm getting tired of stirring!), remove from the heat.
A classic meal!
